We’re Hiring!

We are looking for a new member to join our growing team! We are a local mobile phone shop based in Hythe, Southampton with a regular flow of customers entering our shop. We are looking for a friendly, patient, & customer-service-oriented individual with an interest in mobile phones and all things tech!

The role primarily involves a customer service and social media based role including: assisting customers, booking customers repairs, managing the ‘front of house’, helping customers with basic tech issues, replying to social media enquiries, creating social media posts and then a future opportunity to become to a technician within the shop, learning to repair all types of mobile tech. Training will be provided for the above where necessary.

Requirements:
– Basic computer skills.
– Enthusiastic to learn on-the-job.
– The ability to promptly reply to enquires.
– Organisational skills and a ‘keep-tidy’ attitude.
– A friendly, positive and patient mindset.
– Ideally an interest in mobile devices & technology.

Responsibilities:
– Assisting customers with any basic queries in a friendly & patient manner.
– Booking customer repairs using the POS.
– Resolving any customer issues or concerns.
– Processing website orders.
– Stock management (adding new stock to the system).
– Replying to enquires via social media, email and phone calls.
– Using our ticket system to track progress and log jobs.
– Maintain communication with customers regarding updates on their repair.
– Basic software advice & data transfer (training provided).

Position: Customer Service Assistant
Hours: 24-30 hours per week with the potential of extra hours in the future.
Shift Times: Spread across Mon-Fri.
Location: Hythe, Southampton.
