We are looking for a new member to join our growing team! We are a local mobile phone shop based in Hythe, Southampton with a regular flow of customers entering our shop. We are looking for a friendly, patient, & customer-service-oriented individual with an interest in mobile devices and all things tech!
The role primarily involves a customer service and stock processing role, including: assisting customers in-person and over the phone, booking customer repairs, managing the ‘front of house’, helping customers with basic tech issues, replying to social media enquiries, ordering and processing new stock, testing devices, and then a future opportunity to become a technician within the shop, learning to repair all types of mobile tech. Training will be provided for the above, where necessary.
Requirements:
– Be available Saturdays.
– Basic computer skills.
– Enthusiastic to learn on the job.
– The ability to promptly reply to inquiries.
– Organisational skills and a ‘keep-tidy’ attitude.
– A friendly, positive, and patient mindset.
– Ideally, an interest in mobile devices & technology.
Responsibilities:
– Assisting customers with any basic queries in a friendly & patient manner.
– Booking customer repairs using our POS system.
– Resolving any customer issues or concerns.
– Processing website orders.
– Stock management (ordering new stock and processing the stock)
– Replying to inquiries via social media, email, and phone calls.
– Using our ticket system to track progress and log jobs.
– Maintain communication with customers regarding updates on their repair.
– Basic software advice & data transfer (training provided).
– Testing devices to check all functions operate as they should
Position: Customer Service Assistant
Hours: 24-30 hours per week with the potential of extra hours in the future.
Shift Times: Shift times are flexible, but Saturday is a must (9:00-15:00)
Location: Hythe, Southampton.
