iPhone 16 Prize Competition — Terms & Conditions

1. Important Notice – Nature of Competition

This is a legally compliant prize competition, not a lottery or raffle.
Under UK law, no licence is required as entry is conditional on answering a skill-based question.
Only entrants who answer the question correctly will be entered into the final draw.
This ensures the outcome is based on knowledge and skill, not chance alone.

2. Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

• Employees of LWRepairs and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

• Only one entry per purchase. No bulk, automated or third-party entries permitted.

3. How to Enter

• Pay the £20 entry fee via our website.

• Answer the qualifying skill question correctly:
  “Which app comes pre-installed on iPhones for video calls?”

• Entries without a correct answer will be disqualified and not eligible to win.

• All entries must be submitted before the stated closing date.

4. The Prize

• Main Prize: One (1) Apple iPhone 16.

• If fewer than 35 entries are received by the closing date, the prize will be replaced with a cash alternative worth 80% of total entry fees collected.

• One winner will be selected at random from the pool of correct entries only, using a verified digital randomisation tool.

5. Winner Announcement

• The winner will be announced via Facebook (@LWRepairs) on the draw date.

• LWRepairs will also contact the winner via email or phone within 24 hours.

• If the winner cannot be reached within 7 days, another correct entrant will be drawn.

• Prize collection requires valid proof of entry. The winner must present the email receipt confirming their correct entry when collecting the prize.

  Failure to provide this proof may result in the prize being withheld and another winner being selected.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

• If fewer than 35 valid entries are received, LWRepairs reserves the right to cancel the competition and refund all participants in full.

• No refunds will be given for incorrect answers or withdrawals once an entry is submitted.

7. General

• This is a prize competition governed by UK law, not a lottery or raffle under the Gambling Act 2005.

• Entry into the competition signifies acceptance of these terms.

• LWRepairs reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition where necessary (e.g. technical failure, fraud).

• Personal data will be processed securely and solely for the purposes of administering this competition.

• Proof of correct entry and random selection will be documented for verification.
